Progress Lighting buys 53 Degrees Northern Limited to create a new dynamic digital consultancy called Progress Display Technologies.

Following a successful year that saw Progress Lighting win major retail contracts with companies such as Lapicida, Mark & Spencer and Selfridges we can now announce the purchase of 53 Degrees Northern limited. 53 Degrees are the Leeds based audiovisual specialist behind projects such as Trinity Leeds and many other high profile digital installations. Progress Lighting is very excited at the prospect of bringing 53 Degrees into the Progress brand.

Over recent weeks we Progress have seen the launch of Progress Display, the newly formed division that will offer our clients static visual communications and modular display systems. This new addition and our move into the digital space is extremely beneficial to all our customers and potential customers. We can now offer digital communications, audio visual services and technology solutions that were before this purchase beyond our standard remit.

Our new group MD Rod Pallister states, 'completing the purchase of 53 Degrees is like placing the final piece in the jigsaw. It gives you great satisfaction and a sense of achievement, but once finished you are looking your next challenge. Our aim with this purchase of 53 Degrees is to offer all our clients a full in house service that encompass total brand design, communication and engagement. With the 3 new devisions Lighting, Display, Technologies and our combined portfolio of works we feel we are in an incredible position to offer all our existing and new clients something special. We are all looking forward to the future and the process of expanding The Progress Brand.'
